Individual spears should be 170-220mm in length, and 8-12mm and/or 12-16mm in diameter.

Tolerance:
A tolerance of 10% is allowed for defects in size and slight defects in colour or surface condition that do not affect shelf life.

Shelf Life:
Date of despatch plus an in-house shelf life of 3 days. |
Quality Requirements:
1. Green in colour.
2. Clean straight spears, trimmed with compact tips.
3. Free from rots, shrivel, fungal or pest damage, or other types of deterioration.
4. Dry, with no signs of visible material or residues. Free from foreign taste or smell
