Minimum 60mm diameter.

Tolerance:
A tolerance of 10% per package is allowed for: 1. Light staining which does not affect the last dried skin protecting the bulb. (2) The absence of part of the outer skin provided that flesh is protected.
3. Slight superficial scarring which does not affect the flesh.

Shelf Life:
Date of despatch plus an in-house shelf life of 10 days. |
Quality Requirements:
1. Colour dark red/purple, with bright shiny skins. Minimum of two dry outer skins.
2. Bulbs to be firm and compact, with no excessive root growth or shooting.
3. Skins to be clean with no abnormal external moisture.
4. Stems not to be longer than 4cm.
5. Must be free from rots, mould, softening to shoulder or base or any other deterioration.
6. No signs of visible foreign matter or residues. Free from foreign taste or smell.
7. Free from bruising.
