A tolerance of 2sq.cm. Allowed per courgette for superficial surface scarring, slight healed cracks or blemishes, where shelf life is not affected. Stalk may be slightly damaged.

Date of despatch plus an in-house shelf life of 4 days. |
Quality Requirements:
1. Class 1.
2. Colour mid to dark green, shiny.
3. Firm, whole, fresh and free from cavities or splits.
4. Free from roots, fungal or pest damage, or any other type of deterioration.
5. Free from softening at blossom or stalk end.
6. No excess moisture or visible foreign matter or residues. Free from foreign taste or smell.
7. Elongated shape, uniform in diameter, straight.
8. Stalk to be cleanly cut to a maximum of 0.75" (2cm).
