Tolerance:
1. A tolerance of 10% is allowed for defects in size and shape.
2. A tolerance of 10% for soil particles not exceeding 3mm diameter.
3. 5% tolerance for brown discolouration of caps.

Shelf Life:
Date of dispatch plus an in-house shelf life of 4 days. |
Quality Requirements:
1. Colour white/cream.
2. Mushrooms should be fresh in appearance, intact and firm. Fine white skin around stalk to be broken to reveal pink gills.
3. No bruising, slime or brown discolouration to caps.
4. Stalks to be cleanly trimmed. Minimal peat present.
5. Must be free mould nests, rots, pest damage or any other type of deterioration.
6. Dry with no signs of visible foreign matter or residues. Free from foreign taste or smell.
