Quality Requirements:
1. Class 1.
2. Colour mid to dark green.
3. Leaves have a rough texture and thick stems. Lettuce narrow and pointed yet hearted.
4. Leaves must be fresh in appearance and turgid.
5. Must be clean and trimmed at base.
6. Free from brown rot and discolouration, fungal or pest damage, pests or any other type of deterioration.
7. No excess external moisture or signs of visible foreign matter or residues. Free from foreign taste or smell.
