English Iceberg and Little Gem have both become short and expensive.
Celery is very short and very expensive as we wait on the new season English to start.

Our LOCAL STRAWBERRIES start next week.
Cherry’s are more plentiful and now much larger and with a much better taste then before.
All Berries seem to be coming through very nice with new season Red Currants and Blueberries.
Peach and Nectarines are much more plentiful and much better sized but are still arriving under ripe.
Black and White Seedless Grapes are still suffering but we have switched over to Mexican purely for quality. Large Oranges and Lemons still remain on the expensive.

Exotics:
Our selections of baby vegatables grown LOCALLY are superb quality.
The one kilo punnets of cultivated Mixed Wild Mushrooms are readily available.
Fresh wet Garlic is superb.
However, Girrolles and Morels etc. need to be pre-ordered with a minimum of one days notice.
Trumpette and Chanterelle are too wet and are currently unavailable.

PRICE ALERT:
Round and Banana Shallots are making a small fortune, quality is not good either. We are waiting for the new season to start.
